Eucharistic Adoration

During the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, after invoking the Holy Spirit upon the gifts of bread and wine, the priest speaks the sacred words of Christ Himself—those spoken at the Last Supper, as recorded in Sacred Scripture:

“Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my Body, which will be given up for you.”

Then, taking the chalice, he proclaims:

“Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my Blood,
the Blood of the new and eternal covenant,
which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Do this in memory of me.”

These words are not mere recollection—they are a living mystery. In the Eucharist, Christ becomes truly present: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.
